Mina tensed as the umbreon climbed over the wall and into the little circle of fire. She skirted away behind Hex and puffed out a ball of fire that quickly dispersed in the air. It was one of her little quirks that she exhibited when she was scared or angry. It was like a hiccup, in a way. "Glad you decided to join us." Hex welcomed the umbreon. "If you're hungry, we found some fresh berries downhill not too long ago. You're welcome to have a few." She pointed to a few wrapped-up leaves that had the smell of ouran and sitrus berries in it.

Shadow looked back over at the berries, his ears laid solemnly against his head. His red eyes glowed dimly against the light of vulpix's fire as he looked upon the espeon silhouetted against the flames. Shadow looked away. "Thanks, but I'm not hungry tonight." Getting up, he walked out of the light of the fire. Back in the shelter of the deserted shack, something lurked in the shadows of the cellar. The creak of a step drew the attention of the waiting pokemon, who was now watching from the corner of the room. Eyes watched as Miyu slowly descended the stairs into the cellar, walking on air with her psychic from lack of physical steps. As the gardevoir reached the bottom of the stairs, the eyes moved to the top. Floating through the ceiling, the pokemon appeared in the main room of the cottage. Haunter looked around the wooden shack in curiousity. It had been years since anyone had come to visit him. On the floor he spotted a sleeping pokemon that he'd never seen, its whiskers twitching in the winds of the fading storm. Haunter spotted its trainer not far off, lying on her back as the particles of sand drifted across her face. Haunter took a closer look at this new human. The trainer was a girl, with pokeballs strapped to her belt. A fang pendant lay draped across her neck, its faint golden color radiating in the darkness of the shack. The human's face was pale, its breathing wheezy and labored. Now and then it coughed, breathing in the sand floating in the air. Haunter could see the humans spirit fluxuating beneath her skin; it was suffering from dehydration. Probably for over 13 hours now. Haunter shook his head disappointedly; you needed to know how to survive in conditions like this, if you were going to venture into the desert. Reaching out with his hand, the ghost pokemon grasped the human's head, and in turn, its spirit. Pulling away from the body, Haunter seperated Kokuei's spirit from her flesh.

Sam walked through the fields of Chicole Village on her family's acre plot of land, holding in her hands a large metal bowl. The pokemon of partner farm were all out and about, frolicking across the grass in the hot summer breeze. Sam took out a triangle and slowly tapped the metal against the side of the dish. "Okaaaaaaaay, come and get it!!~" The pokemon all looked up from what they were doing, ears and whiskers twitching inquisitively. In a flurry of activity, the pokemon suddenly swarmed towards Sam, rapidly approaching the girl and bowl. Sam held up the dish in her hands as the pokemon picked and pulled at her pant legs. "Okaaay Okay! One at a time, there's plenty to go around..." As she set down the plate, a brown shape shot out from the ring of pokemon and bumbled into the bowl, spilling food everywhere. All of the pokemon leapt forward in glee, knocking Sam off her feet, and swarming over her, pressing into her stomach and tickling her nose with hundreds of little hairs. Finally, she lay down in a heap of laughter as a dizzying wave of darkness trickled its way into her weightless body... When Kokuei awoke, she yawned but yet she couldn't feel any need to stretch, nor did she feel her mouth when she moved it. Suddenly, she noticed her strange sense of weightlessness which she experienced in her dream. She looked down and saw Rai below her, the luxio's soft flank rising up and down in her sleep. Next to Rakurai she saw herself, lying on her back next to her pokemon. Wait, herself? Ko's heart skipped a beat and her mind reeled, in total denial of what her eyes were telling her. Even more wierd was the fact that when she looked closely at herself, she noticed that she wasn't breathing. Kokuei yelled in surprise and Rai's ears twitched. The pokemon looked up in surprise, saw her trainer next to her, and fell back to sleep. Kokuei's stomach filled with dread, knowing that she had been thirsty for a long time. I'm dead, aren't I? Kokuei was just starting to realize the gravity of the situation she found herself in when she heard an airy laugh next to her. Turning she saw a haunter next to her, giggling gleefully. Kokuei searched her mental pokedex to find any clue to what was happening. She found none. Haunter took Kokuei by the hand, grinning, and shot up out of the roof. Kokuei froze as she flew face-first towards the wooden beams, but she passed right through them. Now she really knew she was dead. Before she could contemplate the consequences of her death, Haunter led her out over the barren desert beyond the small outcropping of rocks where her body lay. They passed hundreds of acres of- nothing. The earth was a barren wasteland until they came to a plateau in the middle of the desert. As they rose above the rock face Kokuei gasped in awe. Out of a crater in the middle of the plateau rose an ice pillar fifty stories tall. Haunter floated down into the crater and beckoned for Kokuei to follow. Moving her arms and legs, Ko found that she could fly on her own, and went to join the pokemon. When she arrived Haunter pointed at a trickle of water running off of the pillar that had frozen overnight. Kokuei mouthed "oh", and as she watched Haunter snapped its fingers. Hey I found some pokemon humans There's a real pretty glaceon on this site http://plus4chan.org/b/pkmn/res/17621+50.html I love the flygon in this one http://www.poke-place.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=435&st=0 Despite the language, THESE. The mud squished underneath his feet, the feeling generating an odd sensation that travelled up his spine and gave him goosebumps all over the place. Yomi looked at him curiously, washing her paw as she lay across both his shoulders. "Is something the matter, Kamina?" She asked, tail swishing back and forth on his back. "Have you not felt mud between your toes before?" "No, I have, it's just..." He sighed and stopped in front of a pecha berry bush. He crouched down and began picking at the sweet berries, handing one to the purrloin before he continued. "I've been locked away for a long time without so much as a glance at the outside world. I can't remember who I am or where I've been, but... I guess everything is just so strange to me, I don't even know where to go! I'm just... wandering." "No no, it's true. I feel a strange connection with the girl they locked me up next to. I have no idea if I had some sort of relationship with her before I lost my memory, but I feel like she should be protected. Like a little sister, sort of." He stuffed the berries in his uniform and continued walking forward through the forest. Even the Pokemon seemed to stop and stare, giving him strange faces and whispering to their cohorts about his strangeness. Half Pokemon? Bah! It was blasphemy, but somehow it had been managed. They messed with Nature, and now he was not sure how nature would react to abominations like him and that little girl. He sighed and then realized-where exactly was he going? He stopped in the middle of the forest and wondered for a minute before looking to his new companion for guidance. "Hey, Yomi?" He began. "Do you know where we're going? Cuz.... Honestly, I have no clue." "Well you found me by Nacrene City, so I assume this is Pinwheel Forest." She replied. "We will be approaching a desert quite soon, so you might want to be on the lookout."

Kokuei trudged up the hill with newfound energy, determinedly squinting under the harsh glare of the sun. I'm going to make it! I'll get out of this gods forsaken desert and..... She sighed, pausing near the top of the rise. Then I'll be on the run again. Would it be better for us to just stay here? Why is this always so hard? She shook her head to shrug off her thoughts and looked back at the pokemon behind her. "Come on! We're almost there!!" Rakurai was throughly fed up. She felt like she had been sand-papered, freeze dried and then fried to a crisp. She looked up, blinking sleepily at the sky, her tongue hanging from her jaws. She panted. "I'm coming- just give me a sec. God- who kept you warm all night you ungrateful little......" Kokuei, unable to hear her luxio's snide remark, turned back to the task at hand, examining the small ridge she found before her. It wasn't very tall- just above her head. Normally this would have been an easy task, but with the sand underfoot she couldn't get the lift needed to clear it. Finally she rubbed her hands and jumped, feeling the dune slide beneath her. She managed to get her elbows over the ledge and hauled herself up, pausing with her legs hovering back over the edge. What she saw before her took her breath away. The ice tower rose more than fifty feet in the air, its faceted edges glittering brilliantly in the morning light. Around the pillar was a crater as wide as a football field as wide as a football field, dotted with small pools of water. Kokuei smiled with relief and laughed. "Rai, we found it- it's here! WAHOO!!" She pushed herself up and slid down the lip of the crater. Rai crouched on the ledge, reaching down to pull up Miyu, whom she didnt trust to cast a teleportation spell again. She looked back as Miyu grabbed her paws, flicking her ear in annoyance. "Well don't wait for me- I'm in no rush." Kokuei fell upon the moist sand, reveling in the sensation of wet earth over her dry fingers. She bent to drink out of a pool and just as her lips touched the surface a little silver head popped out in front of her. "Poi?" Ko almost choked on the water and sat up, sputtering. Looking again she recognized the pokemon as a remoraid. "Why hello there. Why are you here?" It really confused her to see an ocean pokemon in the desert- it didn't belong here. Before she had time to fully comprehend the presence of one fish pokemon in the barren wasteland more than two hundred more popped up out of the puddles around her. A moment later, as if on some unspoken signal, they all raised their heads and shot water guns onto the pillar of ice. The water cascading down the pillar have it a beautiful yet unsettling look. Ko called nervously, keeping her eyes on the scene. "Rai??......" Rakurai twitched her tail irritantly, her eyes on Miyu, who was latchign onto her paws for a second time (the first time didnt work out that well...). "Oh bother- what now?" Ko saw a crack run up the ice pillar, fragmenting the structure, allowing the water to fill the fissures. "RAI-" Rakurai snarled as Miyu grabbed her ear climbing over her fur. She snarled over her shoulder. "UN MOMENT, POR FAVOR- AM MUY OCCUPIEDO" "RAKURAI!!!" "WHAAAAAT?!!!!!!" The agrivated luxio turned around just in time to see the tower collapse around her trainer, filling the crater with rushing water. There is a dried river bed that the water's gonna exit out of- at least they'll be out of the desert! XDD

Slash padded at the front of the misfit group, his steel-like fur bristling in guilty agitation. "Why did it have to be dratini? If it got taken, then what was the point of going back to save it? I'm so.... sigh." Shaking his head, he paused at the top of a hill and motioned for the rest to stop, beckoning for Quilava and some of the more responsible pokemon to meet him below the rise. (Saya & Tracie included) Slash crouched down and turned to them. "Okay guys, smell the salt? Beyond this hill is the sea, and our ticket home." He looked back over his shoulder. "Undella bay is a few miles southwest of here. Our plan is to send a few scouts into town to see if there are any ships leaving to Hoenn, Jhoto or Kanto, since they're the farthest away. I bet we could ask some water pokemon to get the rest to Sinnoh...." He frowned. Of course, those experimented on extensively won't be safe in any region.... But it's best to get them home all the same where they'd be less noticeable. The pikachu cleared his throat. "Anyways, there are rocks on either side of the coast here, but we should still be pretty careful just the same- if we're spotted we won't be able to use this town and we'd have no choice but to go to Castelia, seeing as though they have the only other large port. That or go all the way across Unova to Nimbasa. That said, as soon as we've crossed the beach-" Back in the main group a little Azurill perked up her sensitive ears at that dazzling, magic word. Beach....~ She remembered her mother telling her stories about the beach before they took her away, her description of a vast sparkling body of water as far as the eye could see. Her eyes lit up and her body trembled with excitement. Compared to the confining little pool in her cage back at the lab, she knew that at the beach the ocean began and she could swim forever. Finally she jumped for joy and cried. "THE BEEEEACH!!!!!!" She hopped across the grass towards the hill concealing her paradise. The rest of the little pokemon looked at her, their ears perked and their eyes alight. "TEH BEACH!!" Suddenly a stampede of exuberant little pokemon trampled over the group of supervisors and ran out onto the sand. Slash lay on the top with his face dug into the sandy earth. He pulled, disconnecting his bouncy cheeks from the dirt and blinked. What the he-- "WAIT!!" When he realized what was happening it was too late- the pokemon had already reached the water." Lol it's not that big a deal Slash- it's a sheltered cove; what could go wrong? (A break for the little tykes~)

"Oh relax, Slash." Tracie said to the pikachu, lightly pushing him and making him roll over in the grass. "They're just tired of having to run all the time. I know I am. Why don't you take a load off and take a dip in the ocean?" "I think I'll pass for swimming," Saya replied, shrugging awkwardly and kicking some loose sand/dirt around him. "I'll sun bathe instead. As long as no one splashes me we're good." "Saya's not too fond of swimming, but he's still going to have fun. So just try to loosen up, okay Slash?" The glaceon smiled and bounded away, splashing into the water with the azurill and a couple of her friends. The water was a nice, refreshing break from the hectic running around. She was glad to be mindless and playful for just a little while, even if it be a short while. It seemed as if nothing could go wrong at this little cove, and for a while nothing did. Everything was fine and the Pokemon dared to mess with Saya and his glorious sun. However, something particularly odd happened within the moments of frolic and play. A bubble appeared. It was a pinkish-purple bubble however-not the typical color of a bubble. Upon closer inspection, it popped. Then more began appearing, and still more kept appearing until finally, something teleported in a giant bubble. It seemed like a dark mass at first. Curious about the giant bubble's sudden appearance, Saya jumped up and inspected it. Even though Slash's continuous warning not to touch it reached his ears, his warnings were but a mere distraction from his prize. With his claws, he poked the salmon pink bubble, and it popped. What fell into his arms from the bubble was quite extroadinary. It was a little girl, about 13 years old, and she had bubblegum pink hair. Tiny pink ears poked out of her head and a long, winding tail sprouted out from her spine. She opened her eyes and gazed into Saya's amber orbs. Hers were a deep saphire, and she had an air of familiarity about her. "Wait a minute, you AGAIN?!" Saya gasped. "How many times are you gonna keep disappearing on us?!" Tracie climbed her way up the blaziken's back and onto his shoulder to get a better look at her. She seemed harmless enough. She merely blinked in response to being reprimanded by the big hulking pokemon and sunggled up close to his warm body. "Oh great. What are we going to do with her?" The blaziken grimaced. "Hush, you're being rude!" Tracie growled. "Maybe she knows where our trainers are?"
