Miyu was lying in a field of wildflowers closeby. Her green hair and dress swayed back and forth in time with the flowers as the cool breeze pushed past her. She took in a deep breath and sighed, remembering the times she had spent with her beloved Hikaru. She missed that cute, spunky little kid so much. And her older brother, too. She missed her best friend-the brother's gallade-as well. They were the best of friends, and a great pair at contests too. Miyu raised her arm up in the air and spread out her fingers. On her wrist was a bead-y charm bracelet. She always kept it on her wrist, for it was a memory of Hikaru. The little girl gave it to her when she was still just a small Kirlia, and she hadn't ever taken it off since their friendship began. Now... she was incredibly lonely. She escaped trainer after trainer, and her skills of stealth had improven so much over the last two years. Suddenly, the wind blew a familiar scent towards her. It was.... Hikaru!!! Well, it was mingled with the scent of a strange, ancient pokemon, but it was still her scent. Miyu got up immediately and rushed over to where it was coming from, hoping she would still be there. She burst out into the clearing, but only saw Kokuei, her pokemon, and a crushed truck with glass an other object scattered everywhere. This saddened her greatly and she let her head droop down low. Looks like the missing siblings would stay missing. Forever.

Kokuei heard a motor growl. Shoving the badge in her bag, she ran to the guardrail. A truck was heading up the road. Kokuei watched the truck roll past over the pavement below her, and turned her hat around(ASH STYLE!! XDDD). Rakurai raised her head and watched her trainer come up to her. A spark ran down her body; she knew what this meant.

Kokuei came up to her luxio and straightened her shoulderbag. "I know who is behind this, and they're coming back. We need to leave- now!" She clutched her shirt, and the fang inside of it. She bit her lip- she seemed to be doing that often lately. Rakurai growled in agreement and they ran off into the forest, Dash leaping on his trainer's shoulders as the pair ran past.

The gardevoir crouched down low in the bushes as she hid from the approaching truck. She watched carefully as they got out and searched around, then one of them called the others over when he saw the front end of the truck. The two men who used to sit in the front before crashing into the mamoswine were now bloody and their bodies were no longer salvagable.

"Well, it looks like Hikaru escaped as well." The biggest, burliest one said as he got out of the back of the accordian truck thing. "That girl could be anywhere by now."

Miyu perked up at the name. Hikaru! She thought, her mind racing. --what if she was really there, just now?! That girl is important!!

"What's all the commotion out here??"

A stylish boot stepped out of the truck. Short black hair, short pants, short shirt- Jade had joined the show. Stepping down from thetruck, she walked past the burly man. "Step aside and let us work. ALL OFYOU STOP WHERE YOU ARE!!" The men all froze. Jade nodded. "Good. Naochi, get out here and do your thing."

"Yessir!" A boy with glasses and a laptop got out of the truck after her. Getting out a laptop, he typed while she instructed the personel.

"There's been someone here and I want to know who! So don't anyone dare move until we get this area clear!!"

   "YESSIR!!!"

Jade turned to the boy. "Have you got anything?"

Naochi nodded. "Hold on be patient. I've found one pokemon footprint and I'm identifying another one............ Ah- Buizel..." He continued typing and doing his little nerd thing while Jade looked around the road. Her tracker was the only person in the world who could tell her to be patient and get away with it unscathed. She turned around at a grunt of approval. "Okay, just one more........." Naochi looked up. "I've found a growlithe, three buizel, a luxio and a person of a 10 shoe size. Now if my assumptions are correct, there should be..............." He got up and ran into the forest where the footprints came out of.

Jade stood tapping her foot with impatients. Out of the corner of her eye she saw movement, and noticed that one of the goons was losing his balance. He started to fall and she was there in an instant. Grabbing his collar, she blew up in his face. "I TOLD YOU NOT TO MOVE!!!!!! WHAT KIND OF IDIOT WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND THAT SIMPLE ORDEEEEEEEEEEEEEER?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"JADE!!" Jade turned to look at the forest Naochi had disappeared into. "JADE!!!" There was Naochi, huffing as he ran back through the underbrush. Stopping at the railing, he grabbed it and yelled. "Jade- A ranger's been here!!"

Jade froze. "Are you sure??" Letting the man fall to the ground, she walked onto the road where her tracker met her. He shoved a picture at her and ran to get his computer. Jade looked at the picture and narrowed her eyes. There in the dirt were the lines made by the styler.

Naochi ran back to Jade, who was staring at the picture and the truck. "It looks like she ran off that way-" He pointed down the road into the forest. "-Fast."

Jade looked thoughtfully at the footprints. "And that means they knew about us......" She turned to the goons. "Get back in the cars, now!! We're going after that ranger!!!!" The workers began scrambling to get the machines in the back of the truck.

Noachi packed his laptop on his backpack. "You think it's her?"

Jade smiled widely. "Oh yes, it's her alright." She looked into the forest as the ATV's pulled out of the truck. "I've found you."

Miyu gasped. That trainer she just saw wasn't a trainer at all, but a pokemon Ranger! She knew a little about rangers and such, but it never occurred to her how hated they might be. The girl she had seen seemed pretty nice. Who were those thugs, anyways? And why were they after the ranger? I've got to get to the bottom of this! She said to herself, disappearing through the trees. The burly, threatening-looking visitors abolished everything in hteir path, leaving nothing but dirt tracks behind them and the debris of trees and the like scattered everywhere. It was a mess.

Kokuei ran through the forest, skillfully hopping over bushes and swinging over fallen tree limbs. She was going faster than Rai!

Rakurai grinned and looked up at Dash. "I think she's just evolved into a primeape!"

Dash put his paw on Kokuei's back to turn and look at Rai. He smiled widely. "You may be right~" He looked back at the forest they had just covered. "But, what are we running from again?"

Rai sighed in exasperation. "We don't have time for this.... Just- Bad men okay? Bad men with anger management issues!!"

Dash was about to question further when Kokuei's body jolted from an especially large branch. Dash yelled in surprise and grasped at her shirt, but he fell off anyways. Laying on the branch, he tried to get his stubby legs over the wood.

"Need some help short stuff?" Rai jumped onto the branch next to him. "Hop on!" Grabbing Dash by the scruff she jumped after Kiyou.

Dash squirmed in her jowls, back legs held up underneath him. "TYRANNY!! SAVAGERY!! PUT ME DOWN!! WHOOAAAAAAA-" He was suddenly thrown into the air and twisted pitifully five feet above the ground before landing squarely on Rai's back. He immedeatly grasped her fur tightly in his claws, causing her to hiss and swing her tail wildley.

   "Scared of heights?"

   "You wish!"

Rai's sensitive ears picked up a rumbling sound in the distance and she stopped laughing, her fuzzy receptors swivling towards the crashing noise. "Um, I hate to say it-" She started pumping her legs faster to catch up to Kokuei. "But I think we'd better run faster!"

Miyu stared at the truck as she ran beside it, skillfully tripping over twigs and bumping into branches the whole time she followed it. She was curious about where they were going. I wonder if they know about Hikaru... she wondered, hoping they had at least spotted the quirky, fun-loving brown haired girl. If they knew at least that, she would be happy. Suddenly, they crashed and she stopped to see what the hell was going on. Oh, looks like a slight detour. She thought to herself. All they were doing was stopping for a slight second, then continuing forward on their wild chase for Kokuei- at which they were skillfully gaining.

Kokuei ran through the forest, Rai at her side. The luxio looked at her anxiously, telling her to run faster.

Kokuei could hear the trucks clearly now- small tank-like machinery crashing through the undergrowth behind her. She told Rai to go on ahead. Rakurai nodded and ran ahead, searching for any traps and obstacles. Kokuei was just glad she didn't have to worry about her pokemon getting run over.

Suddenly, Kokuei's foot slipped under a root. She yelled in surprise as she fell head over heel, landing with her foot almost backwards. Kokuei yelled with pain and hurriedly tried to get the root off, but the trucks soon came crashing out of the forest behind her. She yelled and flailed around, jumping into a hole next to her as the first three trucks ran over her, inches above her head. The fourth vehicle stopped short of her, and the others turned sharply and stopped; two crashing into each other on accident.

Rakurai jumped through the circle of cars and stood beside Kokuei, crouching and showing her teeth, growling savagely. Dash fell off of Rai's back and stood growling at the vehicles, his spine bristling. A woman came out and placed her foot on the top of the atv. "Well Wolf, we've finally found you."

Kokuei scowled. "Who are you?" Rakurai growled.

The woman grinned. "A pokemon lover~" Her smile faded and her eyes seemed to bore into Kokuei's as the ranger scowled. "Now where's Raikou?"

Miyu tripped over the same root Kiyou tripped over and barely managed to lift her head up before the trucks swerved and curled around the bend. The gardevoir winced and ducked under the protection of the leaves to hide from the thugs.

"What are they doing...?" She wondered, attempting to keep the rustling to a minimum as she shuffled through the bush to get a better look. The ranger looked defenseless against the others. Miyu felt like jumping out and protecting the ranger, but if she acted too soon, things might just get worse.

"...Now where's Raikou?" She heard one of the thugs growl to the ranger. What did they mean? Wasn't Raikou one of the legendary dog pokemon...? Miyu sighed and rested her head on her arms.

"Tell me a story, brother!" The little girl giggled, holding a Kirlia in her arms. "I'm not tired and I wan' a story~!"

"All right," An older boy with dark hair laughed, picking her up and putting her on his knee. "How about the one with suicune?"

 "YEAH~"

"Ha ha. Once, there was a little girl. She was always outside, playing with the Pokemon in the forest..."

   Kokuei stiffened. "What did you-"

The woman scoffed. "You didn't seriously think you'd get away did you? Were you honestly naive enough to believe that you were so well hidden, that we would never find you again? You could never hide from us. HAHAHA!!!"

   Kokuei grimaced and didn't reply.

The girl looked at Rai and grinned catishly- an expression which Rakurai copied tenfold. A voice came from the car beneath the girl. "Hey Jade, hurry up please. It would be best."

Jade grunted hotily and looked at the other ATV's. "Fine." She snapped her fingers. "GET HER!!"

The vehicles suddenly sprung open and groups of men ran out. Kokuei turned to her pokemon swiftly. "Dash- burn the root!" Dash let out a small jet of flame, quickly freeing his trainer's leg. Kokuei muffled a scream of pain and clambored out of the ditch that she had been lying in. She stumbled and fell to her knee, where her hand went to her watch. Hand on the dial, she waited. Then they came.

At an order from Jade, the men charged Kokuei and her pokemon. Dash let out a firey bark and leapt into the fray, spewing a jet of flame. Rakurai took the defensive and stayed by Kokuei, shocking anyone who dared get too close.

Rakurai growled and spit at everything that moved, bodies closing in around her. Suddenly she was knocked over by a powerful force. Rolling onto her feet, Rai bared her fangs at the foe who had hit her.

   "Persian, use power gem!"

The cat opposite Rakurai let out a yowl, and a glittering beam of light shot out at the luxio, throwing it away. The two felines then engaged in a claws-out cat fight. Jade leapt to the ground and ran to Kokuei. The ranger tried to punch her but she dodged and kicked her injured ankle. Kokuei doubled over and yelled in pain. All too soon a pile of people were on top of her, grabbing her arms and shoving her to the ground. Rakurai screeched in fury, but was held in check by the persian. Her trainer had been caught.

(Meanwhile Dash had been muzzled and looked quite pathetic really XD)

OH!! Neither Rakurai nor Dash have any clue whatsoever that Kokuei is a ranger BTW

The gardevoir snapped back to reality and realized that the ranger had been caugh. She gasped and immediately got up, her natural instincts for her true trainer kicking in. Miyu jumped out of the bushes, rushing towards them with fury in her step.

"GardeeeeeeeeeVOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRR!!!" She screeched, shocking some of the thugs with Psychic before reaching for Kokuei's arm. She grabbed the human and pulled as hard as she could against the others-who were trying to get her down-and looked at the two pokemon who were being restrained. Using her free hand, Miyu aimed and fired an Energy Ball at the muzzle on Dash.

"Help me!" She said as soon as the muzzle had been shocked off of him. Her main focus was the girl, though she did want to save the others too. The charm bracelet on her wrist jangled everytime she moved, but she still hoped those thugs wouldn't notice. It wasn't fun being so infamous.

Let's say that mostly everyone in the Sinnoh and Unever regions has known about the incident that happened two years ago and everyone is searching for those elusive pokemon P:

Dash leapt out of the fray and flew into Jade, who was knocked onto her back. Letting out a huge bolt of electricity, Rakurai blasted the persian in the face, sending it flying into its atv. Free of opposition, Rai jumped to her trainer's aid and stood next to her, bristling. She noticed a gardevoir behind them, and spit at it angrily, baring her fangs as a warning. No one was getting near her trainer.

Jade rubbed her head and stood up, smiling. Persian got up and strutted next to her in his slinky feline style; a catish grin ever pasted to his face. Jade snapped her fingers and the Persian pounced, along with the other thug's now-released pokemon. It was Fifty-to-Three. They had them for sure.

Miyu grimaced. She hated cats-especially Persians. They were stuck-up snobs, and the only 'cat' she could deal with was her trainer's old espeon. She shuddered at the thought and braced herself. She had never tried this before, but she closed her bright red eyes and concentrated really hard. The others got closer and closer, and at the last second--

"Voir~" The gardevoir glowed as she touched each of the heads she was going to send away, and suddenly the quartet was gone!

In a flash of light the group was lifted away. Kokuei's stomach lifted off the ground in it's usual teleporting manner- it had taken her months to get used to it the first time. On the other hand Dash had never been teleported before, so he felt like he was going to be sick. Rakurai, apparently ammune to any feeling in her stomach whatsoever, was looking around in enraged confusion, her fur bristling.

When the light suddenly faded, the group opened their eyes and looked down at the ground. Now that wouldn't have worried anyone, exept the fact that they were well above it. Gravity quickly returned to them, and the pokemon were suddenly tumbling to the ground. Thirty feet later, they were all in a pile in the dry grass. A few trapinch yelled at Dash for disturbing their rest.

Rakurai dug herself out from under EVERYONE and looked around. Gardevoir was next to them, standing perfectly upright without a scratch on her. Rakurai spit, her spine bristling. "AND WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!! WHAT KIND OF WORTHLESS STUNT WERE YOU TRYING TO PULL?!!"

(Dash is in the backround busy shaking his head around, attempting desperately to pull his head out from the maw of a trapinch~)

     Miyu stepped back defensively.

"I-I'm sorry," She stuttered, tensing up and starting to sweat. How could she explain herself? She was just trying to protect the human. "I j-just was walking b-by and I s-s-saw you all being mistreated and didn't want the girl to get hurt and and and-"

She stopped before she hurt herself. "ANYWAYS, I'M SORRY OKAY? I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT I WAS THINKING AND JUST JUMPED OUT!" She was practically breaking a sweat now. The poor thing didn't know what to do now, but she felt the need to stay. Truth was, she didn't want to leave the ranger. What if she knew where Hikaru was? Plus, Miyu was afraid to keep being alone. She had been alone for nearly two years now, being separated from Gallade early on in a mountainside peak where it snowed the most. She wanted companionship that most Pokemon didn't want to offer her. The gardevoir let her head droop and turned to walk away. Everyone seemed to reject her, like always. Did I screw something up? She wondered, her face getting hot with denial and sadness. Ohhh.... Why does this always happen to me?

   "Wait."

Dash had dislodged the trapinch- somewhat- and squirmed his rear out from under his trainer. He walked over to his fellow pokemon somewhat lopsided, a trapinch on his ear. "Where are ya goin? Way I see it, there's nothin around here for miles. I guess you could just teleport away again, but what then? We don't bite- most of us." He narrowed his eyes unamusedly at his aqquired hitchhiker."

Miyu felt her back prickle with anticipation at the new voice. She turned around and quickly blinked the tears away as she faced the little growlithe. His words reassured her, but she was reluctant to come back. Would that Luxio try to bite her head off again? She was afraid of her. But... The dog pokemon had a point. Where would she go? And how would she know how to use teleport again? She messed with the charm bracelet that hung from her wrist, making the bell and the little mew charm clang together to make a comfortable noise that soothed her senses.

Rakurai's eyes opened as wide as dinner plates, following the charm as it swung from Gardevoir's wrist. Before anyone could notice though, she shook her head to control her catty instincts. Looking around, she got her first look at their surroundings.

All around the pokemon was a tan colored sand as far as the eye could see. The group had teleported onto one of the ridges of the hills dotting the desert. She flicked her ear. Man I do like my sunlight, but this?

Dash was about to speak again when he heard a moan. Turning his head, he saw Kokuei begin to sit up, hand on her head. "Man what happened? Why is it so darn hot??"

Dash ran over to Kokuei immedeatly, but Rai was faster. Pouncing over the loping growlithe with a feline grace, Rakurai leapt to her trainer's side. Kokuei turned to Rakurai and pet her head. Rakurai purred and lay down, large paws curled around the girl's leg. Her head rested on her paws, and she began purring contently. Dash jumped around them, trying to find some space next to Kokuei. She picked him up and dropped him on her other side, and he sat wagging his tail, panting.

Miyu looked at where they were. Sand, sand, and MORE sand.

"What the..." She started, suddenly feeling the unbearing heat of the sun pounding down upon her back as she reached up to sheild her eyes. "...the desert...?"

Oh jeez. She thought frantically. I REALLY messed up this time!! ;;;;;; She glanced at the pokemon that ran to their trainer. She felt compelled to go with them and so took a step forward, but then backed off and kept her distance. She didn't know if it was dangerous or not to go towards the ranger. Or was she even a ranger at all? Miyu's head bounced with ideas of thugs and murderers, but that only led to the sadness of her own trainer being taken away.

Kokuei began to sweat REEEEEEEALLY FAST. Suddenly she noticed that the air all around her was warm, and the furry bodies of her pokemon were sticking to her shirt and skin. She pushed Dash away but he kept trying to come back to her, licking her hand with concern. Her jerky movements annoyed Rakurai, who started sparking with irritation. Soon Kokuei was thoroughly negetively charged and fed up. Shoving Dash away, she jerked her leg up and jolted Rakurai off of her leg.

   "ENOUGH!! GET OFF!!!"

Rakurai's jaws were suddenly jolted together with a hollow clamping sound, and she was flung from her perch onto the sand. Letting out a catterwall, she immedeatly rolled over and glared at Dash. "WHAT DID YOU DO??"

Dash looked hurt. "What did I do? I didn't do squat! She just suddenly pushed me away and wouldn't let me back!! I was just showing her affection." He looked at his trainer downcast, his puppy eyes as wide as dinnerplates.

Kokuei looked over at her growlithe and groaned. "Doooooooooooon't look at me like that Daash. You're a portable furnace." You're lucky that you don't sweat like me......

Kokuei saw a flash of green in front of her and looked up to discover a gardevoir standing some ways off. She lay her arms on her knees and looked up. "Now what're you doing way over there? You brought us here didn't you? Thanks. I owe you one for getting us out of there." She smiled. "But at the moment, I don't know which I'd rather deal with. Those thugs, or these furry blankets. Come on over I won't hurt you."
