Kiba blanched as he felt his sister's arms wrap around his body. She felt sorry for him, but he'd lied to keep the truth from coming out. He'd lied to his sister- broken their promise*. He'd hurt her to hide the truth. How could I be such a bad brother? "Maybe it won't come back for a while..." Kiba glanced at his sister and nodded absentmindedly, casting his eyes down. "Yeah, perhaps you're right. It probably won't come up again now that I've dreamt it once..." He sat for a minute in silence, his sister fingering the sheets at the end of his bed. Finally he couldn't take it anymore. He stood up. "I'm going to go outside. I think some fresh air would do me good, if you don't mind breakfasting alone." With that he got up, put his jacket on and left. He ran down the stairs and out the door, leaving his pancakes untouched on his plate where his sister had placed them. * (I'd imagine that since their dad died and they're brother and sister they'd have a promise/pact not to lie to each other and to tell each other when something's wrong. Well, oops! So much for that!)

Hey Mandi, I can't remember whether we were going to release Macha before the nasty acid-spitting dragon/dragons terrorize(s) the village. Were we going to have Shu stop them from killing Macha behind Hiccup's back or is Macha going to escape during the attack before her release date? And if she is going to be released, then I'll move the date up so that things progress a bit faster.

Luna watched helplessly as her brother left her grasp and ran out the door. She felt a twisted feeling in her stomach, but she couldn't pinpoint why it was there. Something was up, and it wasn't the ceiling. She ate her breakfast in silence that morning, her only company being Big Boy. She ate two of the pancakes her brother had left behind and gave the rest to the family dragon, who scarfed them down happily and burped quite loudly afterwards. The white haired girl chuckled at the terrible terror and stroked him lovingly, thinking of Macha as she did so. After yesterday's excursion, she felt ready to just... Run. She wanted to run and expell all the energy she suddenly felt. Remember the adrenalin rush from yesterday made her excited, and she jumped up from the couch and rushed upstairs to her room. She tied her hair up in pigtails and donned her boots before she bolted downstairs and out of the house, running towards the barn where Shu normally stayed. She skidded to a halt in front of the colorfully painted barn and jumped in, looking for Shu. THIS IS THE BEST I COULD COME UP WITH. tbh i've been feeling a lot like running lately too, so THAT'S WHERE MY INSPIRATION CAME FROM TA-DAAAA! I've missed this place. this should be the last day of randomness and/or character development before we time skip to macha's escape from death

-- Light feathers stroll across my fingers, Gently pressing against my cold lips, Feathers that carry a past, present, and future Feathers that carry the heaviest burden of them all But I can never seem to reach them.

Shu woke up to the sound of songbirds and the smell of the salty sea breeze. He looked up and pondered for a moment the muted sunlight above him, before he realized that it was shining through the membrane of his dragon's wing. He reached up and ran his fingers down the smooth, thin surface and felt the wing shiver at his touch. Whisper lifted his wing away, sneezed and nibbled at the itching sensation that his boy's fingers had left behind. Shu sat up and stretched while Whisper regarded him with displeasure. The dragon eyed the boy's scruffy bed-hair mischeviously and crept up behind him. With a smirk, he coated his tongue with saliva and started furiously licking his hair. Shu jumped up when he felt and large glob of dragon spit fall across his face. He yelped. "Whisper!!" A large glob of spit fell into his eye and he cried out, trying to wipe the sticky substance onto his sleeve. "Ewwww.... Now I'll need a baaaath...." He held out his arm to see dragon goo sliding down the fabric. "And I just washed these..." While Whisper was chuckling, he spit on his hand and wiped it on the back of Whisper's neck, just behind his dragon's ear. Whisper perked up and licked his paw but he couldn't reach the glob of spit that Shu had wiped on his scales. He roared and tumbled around, trying to contort his body so that he could wipe it off. Shu, meanwhile checked his saddle gear and picked a fish from his bag of rations. He chuckled and rubbed the saliva off Whisper's scales and gave him a fish. Then he ate his own breakfast and looked out at the sun rising above the waves. Shu had spent the night on the top of one of the small mountains surrounding Berk, prefering the fresh breeze as opposed to the stale air in the stables. I'LL FINISH WHEN I GET BACK
